What’s Changing with UKG WFM? 

The move to UKG WFM will bring significant changes to how UNM manages timekeeping. Here’s an overview of what to expect: 

For Employees 

  • New Interface: A modern, user-friendly system accessible via web or mobile devices. 
  • Simplified Leave Requests: Submit leave requests directly in UKG WFM, with real-time  status updates. 
  • Accurate Time Tracking: Clock in and out through an integrated system that eliminates manual errors. 
  • Improved Accessibility: Track hours and view schedules anytime, anywhere, using a mobile app. 

For Managers and Supervisors: 

  • Automated Approvals: Streamlined workflows for approving time and leave requests. 
  • Enhanced Scheduling Tools: Create and manage schedules more efficiently with built-in analytics. 
  • Transparency: Gain insights into team attendance, leave balances, and time-off trends with just a few clicks. 

For Timekeepers and Payroll Staff: 

  • Centralized Data: A single platform for all campuses, reducing inconsistencies and duplication of effort. 
  • Integration with Payroll: Direct syncing with payroll systems for faster and more accurate processing. 
  • Automated Reporting: Generate detailed reports on attendance, overtime, and compliance metrics without manual effort. 

What’s Retiring? 

  • LoboTime: The current web-based system will be decommissioned in November 2025. 
  • Banner Time Entry: The manual timekeeping process will no longer be used. 

What Stays the Same? 

  • University Policies: Leave accrual rates, overtime policies, and other timekeeping-related rules remain unchanged. 
  • Support Systems: UNM will provide robust support during and after the transition to ensure everyone can adapt smoothly.
