Collaborating for Success: Meet the Project Partners 

The unified timekeeping project is a university-wide effort requiring collaboration and expertise from various departments and teams across UNM. Together, we are ensuring that this transition to UKG WFM is seamless and effective. 

Project Sponsors: 

  • UNM IT: Overseeing system integration, data migration, and cybersecurity. 
  • UNM Human Resources: Leading the initiative to modernize timekeeping processes and align them with best practices. 
  • UNM Payroll: Ensuring integration with payroll systems and compliance with federal, state, and university policies. 

Implementation Team: 

  • Core Project Team: with representation from UNM IT, UNM Human Resources, and UNM Payroll 
  • UKG WFM Implementation Team: External experts from UKG providing technical support, guidance, and expertise during configuration, testing, and launch. 
  • Campus Representatives: Staff from main, branch, and Health Sciences campuses providing feedback to ensure the system meets diverse needs. 

Stakeholder Group: 

  • A cross-departmental stakeholder group. This team provides critical insights during the design, testing, and rollout phases to ensure a user-friendly system.
